Portage la Prairie RCMP are investigating after three individuals were found dead inside a home on 7th Street SE in the community.
Police say that officers responded to a fire in the home around 1:00 am on Sunday, April 10, 2022. When officers arrived the fire department was on scene putting out the blaze. A search of the home once the fire was extinguished located the bodies.
RCMP say the deaths are considered suspicious.
An adult male has been taken into custody but police have not said if or when he will be charged.
RCMP continue to investigate.
