RCMP are investigating the death of a 47-year-old at a home in South Indian Lake.
Investigators say officers responded to the community nursing station on February 19, 2023, after a female had been seriously assaulted a home on Wasagan Road. The victim was air-lifted to Winnipeg with life-threatening injuries. On February 21 she died from those injuries.
RCMP from South Indian Lake along with officers from the Major Crime Services and Forensic Identification Services continue to investigate.
