An elderly male is dead after the vehicle he was in went off the road.

It happened around 7:40 am on Saturday, November 19, 2022, near Road 78 north in the RM of Minto-Odanah.

Police say they believe the vehicle was travelling south when it crossed the road, entered a ditch and caught fire.

Officers are still trying to identify the victim as the investigation continues.
