A 30-year-old man has died in a collision on Provincial Road 211 in Pinawa.
Police say that the collision happened on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at some point between 10:30 and 11:30 pm. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle had been speeding when the vehicle hit a tree and came to rest on the embankment of the Pinawa Channel. The driver was ejected from the vehicle as it appears he was not wearing a seatbelt. He died at the scene.
Police learned of the collision the next morning around 10:30 am and discovered the victim’s body laying on the embankment.
