RCMP investigating after shots fired at Hamiota house

RCMP are searching for a Black SUV after the occupant(s) fired shots at home in Hamiota, Manitoba, on Tuesday April 5, 2022.

Police say the shooting happened around 4:10 pm on 6th Street. Two adult males who were staying at the residence at the time were not injured. The homeowner was not there when the shots were fired.

RCMP are looking for a dirty black or grey SUV, with investigators believe to be a Pontiac Torrent. The vehicle fled the area by driving southbound on 6th Street, west on Maple Avenue, then north on Highway 21. It is believed that there were four people inside the SUV.
