RCMP in Pukatawagan that just before 8:00 pm on Friday, June 26, 2020, they responded to the report of a body being found near the community.
Officers went to a wooded area and located a deceased 22-year-old female.
The death is being treated as a homicide and investigators from the RCMP Major Crime Services along with officers from Pukatawagan continue to work the case.
RCMP have not released the name of the victim or the cause of death.
