A serious two-vehicle collision on McGillivary Boulevard is under investigation by RCMP.
It happened around 3:40 pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at McCreary Road in the RM of MacDonald.
According to investigators a vehicle that was heading southbound on McCreary Road was turning onto McGillivary Blvd when it clipped an eastbound van. The van then drove into the ditch and hit a tree.
The 53-year-old male driver and the 17-year-old male passenger in the van were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The teen remains in critical condition. The 17-year-old male driver in the other vehicle was not injured.
An RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist along with members from Stonewall/Headingley continue to investigate.
