A 20-year-old male is in custody after a 30-year-old female was murdered in a Sioux Valley Dakota First Nation home on Saturday, November 19, 2022.
According to RCMP officers and emergency medical services were called to the home around 6:25 pm and found the victim suffering from serious injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers arrested the accused at the scene. He has been identified as Ernie Blacksmith and has been charged for his alleged involvement with First Degree Murder.
