RCMP was called to a residence in Lake St. Martin FirstNation for an incident involving an injured man.
When officers arrived at the scene they found a 34-year-old man Who had suffered injuries. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are treating the death as a homicide and are investigating with assistance from RCMP Major Crime Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
