Early Thursday morning RCMP were responded to a disturbance call at a River Road home in the RM of Tache.

When officers arrived just after 1:15 am they located the bodies of a male and a female inside the residence.

RCMP say that while the officers were at the scene they received a report of a suspicious male in the area. A patrol was conducted and the man was located and arrested.

He remains in custody but has not been charged say police. Investigators are trying to determine what connection, if any, he had with the victims

RCMP did point out that there is no concern for public safety in relation to the incident but officers did conduct door-to-door checks around the neighbourhood to gather information and check the wellbeing of residents.

RCMP continue to investigate.
