RCMP in Carmen, about 80 kilometres south-west of Winnipeg, are investigating the stabbing of a 17-year-old male after he got into an argument with a 22-year-old male.
Police say that on Sunday night the pair were at a home in Carmen when the pair got into an altercation and the teen was stabbed. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested the suspect at another home and placed him under arrest.
Ashton Peters has been charged for his alleged involvement with the stabbing with Aggravated Assault and Failing to comply with a probation order.
He was remanded in custody.
