RCMP is investigating a homicide in Little Grand Rapids that happened just after midnight on May 24, 2021. Little Grand Rapids is about 265 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg.
According to investigators they were called to a home in the community for the report of an assault. When officers arrived on the scene they found a 66-year-old woman already deceased.
Officers arrested a 22-year-old female at the home. She was detained in custody.
Police continue to investigate the homicide.
