Carman RCMP is investigating a hit and run after a female who was out for a run was hit by a vehicle Wednesday night, September 30, 2020, in Gretna, Manitoba.
Police say the 16-year-old victim had gone for a run earlier in the evening and had not returned. Friends soon located her suffering from serious injuries. She was taken to hospital.
When officers arrived on scene it became apparent that the female had been struck by a vehicle. RCMP say the collision happened on Pieper Avenue.

The victim remains in critical but stable condition in hospital.
