A 45-year-old female pedestrian is dead after she was allegedly hit by a vehicle on Nisichawayaihk Cree Nation on Friday, January 13, 2023.
According to RCMP, the collision happened before 8:00 pm on Otetiskiwin Drive. Police believe that the vehicle fled the scene after hitting the victim. The female victim from Norway House was found laying on the road and taken to the nursing station where she was pronounced dead.
