On Saturday, June 3, 2023, RCMP began an investigation into a suspicious death after a two-year-old male was taken to the Red Sucker Lake First Nation nursing station in medical distress.
While being treated the boy died.
Island Lake RCMP, RCMP Major Crime Services and the Forensic Identification Unit continue to investigate.
