RCMP in Grand Rapids, Manitoba responded to a shooting in the community at 6:45 am on Sunday July 5, 2020.
Grand Rapids is about 435 kilometres north of Winnipeg.

When officers arrived on scene they found a wounded 31-year-old male. He was taken to the nursing station but soon died from his injuries.
RCMP say that the death is being treated as a homicide.
RCMP Major Crime Services and Grand Rapids RCMP continue to investigate.
