A 28-year-old Steinbach man is in custody after officers found stolen property in a vehicle he was driving according to RCMP.
Police say that on November 12, 2023, an officer on patrol noticed a stolen vehicle in a parking lot on Brandt Street around 12:40 am.
The officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver. The vehicle and driver were searched and a number of stolen tools, jewellery and a wallet with ID were seized. The suspect was also linked to two other thefts
Nathan Botham was charged for his alleged involvement with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 x2
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 x2
- Fail to Comply x3
RCMP continue to investigate.
