The search continues for 48-year-old Christopher Peter Hawkins who went missing on May 29, 2020, after taking a taxi from the RM of Ste Anne to Betula Lake in the Whiteshell.
Hawkins, who went by Peter, was last seen walking towards the path to the provincial park campground.
Police searched the area at the time Peter went missing but were unable to find any signs of him.
Hawkins’s mother is hopeful that he can be found and is asking for help from anyone who knows what may have happened.
“We are all praying for his safety and while we keep searching, we need the help of people who may know something to come forward to police,” said Julie Hawkins. ” We miss him.”
Peter is described as about 5’11” tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a red t-shirt and grey pants
