RCMP continue to investigate the homicide of Bud Paul

RCMP say that they have identified two suspects, a 36-year-old female and a 39-year-old male, in the death of 56-year-old Bud Paul.

Paul had been reported missing on August 7, 2020. He had last been seen on surveillance video from the Liquor Mart in Neepawa on August 1 in the company of a male and a female.

On August 10 his vehicle was located on Queen Street in Winnipeg. It had been set on fire.

Police continued the investigation and on August 11 his body was discovered in Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation. Police returned to the area his body was discovered on October 13 looking for additional evidence.

Police say that during the investigation they uncovered new evidence that has led them back to Paul’s last-known residence on Hespeler Avenue. On Thursday December 17 member of the forensic unit searched the home.

Investigators are still looking for more information about Bud’s whereabouts between August 1 to 10, 2020, or any other information related to the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the tip line at (431) 489-8551.
