RCMP in Manitoba are once again asking the public to help locate missing 16-year-old Taya Guimond
On Monday, October 9, 2017, RCMP requested help in finding the teen who they believed could be in Winnipeg or Selkirk.

Police say Guimond has been missing since October 2, 2017. She was last seen hitchhiking on Highway 304 South leaving Powerview.
Powerview is about 118 kilometres North East of Winnipeg.
Guimond has been known to travel to Selkirk and Winnipeg but she has always communicated with family in the past. RCMP say that as of Friday, October 13, 2017, no one has heard from her.
Police say that they have been unable to located Guimond and are becoming more and more concerned for her safety.
In mid-September 2017, Guimond also went missing along with three of her siblings in Winnipeg.
Taya is a regular user of social media but there has been no activity on her accounts since the early morning of October 3, 2017.
Guimond is described as Indigenous, 5’3”, heavier build has brown eyes, and straight shoulder length black hair.
Manitoba RCMP is asking anyone who knows where she is or who may have seen her get into a vehicle on October 2, 2017, to contact Powerview RCMP at 204-367-8728.
