A 16-year-old male has been charged with arson in connection to a fire in a house in Gods Lake Narrows on Saturday, March 9, 2024.
Police say that around 8:10 p.m. officers received a report of a fire in a house directly behind the band office. The building was completely engulfed when officers arrived on the scene. On one was inside at the time of the blaze and no injuries were reported but three youths were seen in the area when the fire started.
Police patrolled the area and found the teen male suspect who allegedly was involved in setting the fire. The teen was charged with Arson and Obstruct Peace Officer.
RCMP continue to look for the two other suspects.
