RCMP in Oakbank are concerned that a man charged with multiple sexual assaults on young girls may have had other victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Police say that they received a report on January 22, 2018, about sexual assaults that happened between 2010 and 2015 at a home in Garson and a residence in the RM of Springfield.
Investigators say that three of the female victims were 8 years old and one was 7
Police say the assaults ended with the four girls after the suspect moved to Calgary.
On February 27, 2018, Ivan Valintine Cesnik, 57, was arrested by Calgary RCMP. He was returned to Winnipeg to face charges.
Police have charged Cesnik for his alleged involvement with three counts of sexual assault, three counts of sexual interference, three counts of uttering threats and two counts of Administer Noxious Substance.
In a statement on Friday, March 9, 2018, RCMP said that they are concerned that there may be more victims in Manitoba, Alberta and in Kelowna, British Columbia.
