RCMP have arrested a 25-year-old suspect after he knocked over two financial institutions in Dauphin on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
Police were alerted to a robbery on Main Street North around 10:00 am. As officers were responding to the call they were alerted to a second robbery on the same street at a second financial institution.
Investigators say that the robber walked into the businesses and demanded cash before fleeing in a grey truck.
A search of the town uncovered the suspect vehicle around 10:30 am in the back lane between Main Street North and First Street Northwest.
The suspect was still in the truck and was taken into custody without incident. Police recovered a large amount of Canadian Currency in the vehicle.
The accused from Duck Bay will be facing Robbery Charges for his alleged involvement.
RCMP continue to investigate.
