RCMP have arrested two suspects in connection to the May 2019 killing of Portage la Prairie cab driver Jeff Peters.
Peters was found dead near MacGregor, Manitoba on May 20, 2019. Three days later the taxi driven by Peters was located the Sportsplex in Brandon.
Police say that on the day Peters was found surveillance video showed a may and female walking near the location where the vehicle was located.
Investigators from the RCMP Major Crime Services arrested a 16-year-old female in Portage la Prairie on October 27 and 20-year-old Trevor Donovan Roulette in Portage la prairie on November 2. Both of the accused have been charged for their alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder.
Police say both have been detained in Winnipeg and there are no other suspects at this time.
