Peaceful rally held just days after emailed threat to Rady Centre
Denouncing anti-semitism, bigotry and hate was the focus of a small rally held outside Winnipeg’s Rady Cente on Sunday March 12, 2017 just days after the Rady Centre was evacuated due to an emailed threat.

The peaceful gathering of people wore and waived Israeli and Canadian flags, joined by some families gathering for Purim celebrations. Purim is a Jewish holiday commemorating the defeat of plans to annihilate all Jewish people.
“Today is about not standing by and just watching evil in this world. Today we stand up for peace, tolerance and an end to bigotry,” said rally organizer Ron East.
