70 firearms seized during raid on Almond Bay home

Winnipeg Police along with members of the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) raided a home on Almond Bay on October 16, 2019, seizing restricted guns and ammunition.

Police say that in July of 2019, the CBSA intercepted a prohibited firearm suppressor that had been sent to a Winnipeg address from China. The CBSA Criminal Investigations Unit contacted Winnipeg Police and an investigation began leading to the raid.
