Winnipeg Police and RCMP raided a home Florentino Street on Thursday, September 20, 2018.
They were looking for two suspects wanted in connection to mailbox thefts in the RM of Springfield, RM of St. Clements, East St. Paul, and Selkirk.
Police found a female hiding inside the hollowed-out back of a loveseat along with a sawed-off shotgun wrapped in Hells Angels support wear.
The woman was taken into custody. The male suspect was also arrested a short time later.
Brady Elizabeth Kara Laverdure, 29 and Ryan Donald Fortescue, 44 are facing a number of weapons and other charges for their alleged involvement.
Both were detained in custody.
