On Friday, December 4, 2020, the Public Utilities Board (PUB) that they will be taking written comments from the public relating to an application by Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) to issue a special rebate to policyholders.
MPI announced on Monday November 30, 2020, that they would be applying to the PUB to allow them to rebate $69 million to about 675,000 policy holders. The average rebate would be about $100.
The PUB will take written submissions from the public via the board’s website until 4:00 pm on Tuesday December 8, 2020.
