The Public Utilities Board (PUB) has approved a rate reduction to the Primary Gas rate for Centra Gas effective February 1, 2022.
The new rate will decrease the average residential bill by approximately 14.2 per cent or about $121 per year.
The PUB will review the Primary Gas rate again on May 1, 2022.
Rates for those who have signed fixed-term, fixed-price contracts will not be affected.
