Police ask public for help
Project Devote, a combined unit of the RCMP & Winnipeg Police, have executed a search warrant in connection to the 1998 murder of Tania Marsden.
Investigators searched a home in the 800 block of Selkirk Avenue on November 15, 2016.
Police need the public’s help in identifying five people in relation to the case.
“We believe that identifying the individuals in the sketches could help lead us to Tanias killer”, said Sgt. Shawn Pike, a Project Devote Team Commander.” Tania deserves justice. Her family deserves an answer. Please call us with any information.”
Marsden was last seen on September 9, 1998 and her body was found three weeks later in the Assiniboine River.
Project Devote investigates cold cases of homicide or missing persons and includes a family liaison officer who helps families of victims stay apprised of the investigation.
