The Public Utilities Board (PUB) approved an application by Centra Gas Manitoba to decrease the current primary gas rate by approximately 2.1%.
That reduction equates to about $14 per year for the typical residential customer.
The PUB noted that customers who have signed a fixed-term fixed-price contract with Centra or a private broker are not affected.
Primary Gas rates will be reviewed again in May of 2021.
