Winnipeg Police are asking for help from the public in the search for Bradley Shawn Thomas in connection to the killing of 26-year-old Kyle Allan Malanchuk on August 22, 2019.
Police were called to a home in the 800 block of Prichard Avenue for a report that a male was unresponsive. When officers arrived they found Malanchuk had been shot. Although taken to hospital in critical condition the victim died soon afterwards.
Investigators identified Thomas as the suspect and have obtained a Canada-wide arrest warrant on the 24-year-old for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder, Discharge a Restricted Firearm or a Prohibited Firearm with Intent, Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized, Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order (x3)
Thomas is described as an Indigenous male, 5’7″ tall, weighing about 131 pounds and has a thin build. He has brown eyes and short black hair. He also has a number of tattoos on his right arm.
Police say that Thomas should not be approached and anyone with information as to where he may be should call 911.
