The Winnipeg Police Service is investigating a homicide after a 28-year-old man was found deceased on Pritchard Avenue.
Officers responded to a suspicious call in the 300 block of Pritchard Avenue on March 17, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of a male outside.
An autopsy subsequently confirmed the death to be a homicide. The deceased has been identified as Diego Moscoza (Moscoza Jimenez), aged 28, a Mexican citizen who had been residing in Manitoba for the past two years.
The Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation and has notified the victim’s next of kin.
Police are now appealing to the public for assistance. Investigators are seeking to speak with anyone who may have had contact with the victim since the beginning of March 2025.
