In a briefing Tuesday morning, November 3, 2020, Premier Brian Pallister called on qualified Manitobans to help support the work being done at COVID-19 testing sites and in health-care facilities by becoming a volunteer.
Volunteers are needed to support workers with various tasks at COVID-19 testing sites as well as help front-line workers within health-care facilities.
“Manitobans have a long and proud history of stepping up, facing challenges head on and helping one another, especially during times of need,” said Pallister. “Now, we are asking for ‘Team Manitoba’ to shine again to support our health system’s COVID-19 fight.”
Qualified Manitobans who are willing to volunteer can register using the HelpNextDoorMB app.
