Powerview RCMP is investigating a possible drowning at a quarry across from Great Falls Dam on Sunday, July 12, 2020.
According to investigating officers a male jumped into the water at the quarry and immediately began struggling. A group of the man’s friends attempted to help but he went below the water and did not surface.

Several bystanders assisted and the male was pulled from the water and given CPR.
The 21-year-old male was taken to hospital but did not survive.
RCMP continue to investigate.
