Power to cost More
The Public Utilities Board approved a 3.36% increase in Manitoba hydro rates Thursday which is less than the 3.98% hydro requested.
The rate increase will take effect August 1, 2016 and amounts to about $3 per month on the average bill or $5.50 per month if you heat with electricity.
