Power first went out around 8:00 am an has been on and off throughout the morning as crews work on repairs

Although crews estimated restoration of power by 11:20 am it has been pushed back at least an hour due to the discovery of asbestos.

Winnipeg Police and Cadets are spread out in the downtown directing traffic at several intersections. Traffic is flowing quite well with only a short delay reported on Northbound Main Street (north of Portage)
