With the threat of a postal strike looming the province has put into place a plan that would see cheques and other essential mail made available for pickup as of Monday June 20th.
A listing of locations where cheques may be picked up or dropped off throughout the province is attached. These offices will be open Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise indicated. Proper identification is required to pick up a cheque.

Most other government cheques can be picked up at the Norquay Building, basement level, at 401 York Ave. This includes:
- trade vendor and/or landlords;
- provincial superannuation;
- refunds;
- income supplement (provincial services);
- prenatal benefit;
- pharmacare;
- disaster financial assistance; and
- other essential mail.
Prenatal benefit application forms can also be dropped off. Manitobans can also make payments to provincial taxation, Manitoba Housing, provincial fines and maintenance enforcement payments at this location.
Manitoba Housing cheques, including STAT55, rent supplement and the portable housing benefit, can be picked up at 200-352 Donald St.
New and replacement health cards and temporary out-of-province certificates can be picked up on the main floor, 300 Carlton St.

Public Trustee – Manitobans who regularly receive cheques by mail from the Public Guardian and Trustee should contact their adult services administrator directly to make alternate arrangements.
Maintenance Enforcement Program – To pick up a family support payment, call
