RCMP in Portage la Prairie are investigating a stabbing that happened Tuesday morning, May 7, 2019.
Investigators say that they were called to 3rd Street NW just before 10:00 am for a report of a man bleeding. When police arrived they couldn’t find the victim but were able locate him on Fisher Avenue from evidence left at the scene.
A 29-year-old male was located suffering from a stab wound that was considered non-life threatening. He was taken to hospital in stable condition.
