On November 19, 2020 RCMP from Portage la Prairie executed a warrant on a 34-year-old male from their community who was in Winnipeg at the time.
The suspect was found to have 11 grams of purple heroin on his person during the arrest along with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say that that investigation continues and no charges have been laid.
The arrest, however, did result in a follow-up search warrant at a residence on Home Street in Winnipeg.
A search of the home found cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription pills, ecstasy, a stolen bike, and a stolen passport.
Police have arrested 48-year-old Gary Mager from Winnipeg. He is facing a number of charges for his alleged involvement.
RCMP continue to investigate.
