18-year-old Brandon Friesen is facing a number of serious charges after the pickup truck he was allegedly driving was involved in a fatal single vehicle collision.
RCMP say that just before 2:00 am they responded to a collision in Island Park in Portage la Prairie. When they arrived they found a pickup had hit a large tree. The 19-year-old male passenger was dead.
Friesen has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death and Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle.
RCMP Continue to investigate.
