Winnipeg Police are investigating after two people were injured in a Portage Avenue night club early Saturday morning, September 4, 2021.
Police say they learned of the incident when a male and female presented themselves at the Health Sciences Centre emergency department. The male in his 30s was in critical condition suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and the 27-year-old female had suffered injuries from flying glass.
Officers who were at HSC on another matter were told the pair had been injured at the nightclub.
Members of the Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation and are looking to talk to anyone with information about the incident.
No arrests have been made at this time say police.
