As the outdoor swimming season draws to a close the City of Winnipeg is throwing open the gates to the city’s dog population at two City owned wading pools.
Happyland wading pool on Marion Street and Bruce Park wading pool on Portage Avenue will play host to any K-9 with a valid city of Winnipeg dog licence on Saturday, September 2, 2017.
Dogs under 30 pounds are welcome to come swim and play in the water at both wading pools between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Dogs over 30 pounds get to play between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
Registration is required prior to attending which can be done by calling 311.
