Police are looking for witnesses who may have information about a serious aggravated assault that took place on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.

Just before 11:30 pm a 17-year-old male was walking near Main Street and Bannerman Avenue when he was confronted by two males in their teens. The confrontation led to the male being assaulted and hit in the face with a projectile that let him with serious, life-altering injuries. The teen was taken to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable according to police.
