RCMP have arrested and charged three people in connection to a stolen vehicle.
Early Sunday morning, January 26, 2020, a report came into police about a vehicle stuck in the snow in the RM of Cartier and three suspicious people in the area.
Officers from several detachments responded and located the vehicle. It turns out that it had been reported stolen from the Carberry area.
An RCMP police dog and its handler tracked the suspects.
about 90 minutes into the search a female and a male were located on Road 18 W and taken into custody. Thirty minutes later the third suspect was found hiding in a barn nearby.
Amy Constant 25 from The Pas, Michael Dahlin 27 and Nicholas Allard, 27 both from Winnipeg were charged for their alleged involvement with Flight from Police, Obstructing a Peace Officer, Trespass at Night, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Breaking and Entering.
Constant and Dahlin also face charges of Failing to Comply.
The investigation continues.
