Winnipeg Police Service have arrested and charged a 39-year-old male who was allegedly using social media to organize an anti-vaccination protest at the home opener of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on August 5.

Police say that Patrick Joseph Robert Allard was under a court order that restricts him from promoting or organizing gatherings that are contrary to any order made under the Public Health Act.

Allard was one of four people who was arrested for allegedly violating public health orders in May of 2021.

Allard has been charged for his alleged involvement with Failing to Comply with Condition of Release Order.
