Manitoba First Nations Police were called to a home on Sandy Bay First Nation about a domestic dispute.
The males involved in the dispute left just before police arrived but a resident of the home asked officers to look at some possible stolen property and guns located in one of the home’s rooms.
Seven rifles, two of which had been reported stolen, four swords and 2 prohibited weapons were seized from the home along with other stolen property.
An intoxicated female was also in the residence at the time officers were there. A search of her backpack found a handgun, methamphetamine and a small amount of cannabis.
She was arrested and taken into custody.
Police also searched the outside property and located a stolen vehicle which was towed for further forensic testing.
The investigation continues and warrants have been issued for those involved according to police.
