On February 8, 2023, police seize firearms during a search of a residence on Peguis First Nation.
RCMP officers from Fisher Branch, the Emergency Response Team, Police Dog Services and the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team executed a search warrant and found four firearms, ammunition and prohibited magazines.
A man and a woman, both 27, were arrested at the scene and are facing charges for their alleged involvement of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon x4, Careless Storage of a Firearm x3 and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device.
