An executed search warrant on Monday, October 23, 2017, led police to a cache of drugs including the highly deadly opioid fentanyl.
Police say that inside a home in the 100 block of Strauss Drive they found and seized:
- 1 ounce of pure fentanyl (valued at approximately $22,400).
- 1 ounce of fentanyl cut with icing sugar (valued at approximately $2,800).
- 8.3 ounces of marijuana (valued at approximately $2,000).
- 4 cell-phones, 2 digital scales and drug-related packaging materials.
- Cutting agent.
- Approximately $600 in Canadian currency.
- A replica handgun.
Police had arrested two suspects earlier in the 2300 block of Ness Avenue before they raided the residence on Strauss

Trevor Michael Petrowski, 32 and Jenna Lee Guidolin, a 35-year-old female both from Winnipeg, have been charged for their alleged involvement with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Marijuana
- Produce a Scheduled Substance – Fentanyl
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000
Both suspects were detained in custody.
