Winnipeg Police are investigating an incident that happened in the 500 block of Stella Avenue after a male was hit by a vehicle and severely injured.

Investigators say that a male in his 30s was taken to hospital in critical condition and that it appears the victim had been intentionally hit by the vehicle.
Members of the Major Crimes Unit continued to investigate and located the abandoned vehicle in the Dufferin area. A 26-year-old male suspect was located at a residence in the Inkster-Faraday neighbourhood and arrested. He has been charged for his alleged involvement with Aggravated Assault and detained in custody.
